Showmanship

Showmanship

Showmanship is the ability to present you and your animal in the best form possible. It is the appearance, the presentation, and the knowledge of your animal and the beef industry. Showmanship begins long before you arrive at the show and is dependent on hard work and practice with your animal.

Dress:

Jeans, closed toed leather shoes, and a belt. Exhibitors are required to wear official shirt provided.

Notes:

- Showmanship is a no-fit contest. Adhesives and paints may not be used.

 - Exhibitors must use the same animal for all phases of the contest. Each exhibitor must use his/her own animal, with exceptions made for those who only check in a bull and complete the required substitution paperwork.

 - Classes will be posted prior to the contest. If a contestants misses his or her heat, he or she will not be allowed to enter a later heat.

 - At all AJSA Classics, the Top 10 or Top 20 in each age division will be placed and announced in the show ring.
